Authorised Treatment Facility

Pembrokeshire Metal Recycling is an authorised treatment facility (ATF) for the safe dismantling of scrap vehicles. This means we are fully licensed to scrap your car, and we will follow strict environmental guidelines and safety procedures from start to finish.

All vehicles must undergo a depollution process before they are crushed. This involves removing a number of components such as engine oil, fuel, batteries, catalytic converters and more, to make sure every vehicle is environmentally safe and ready to be recycled.

Collection or Delivery

End-of-life Vehicles

You may have heard cars described as end-of-life vehicles (ELV). This term applies to any vehicle that has reached the end of its useful life and is beyond repair. Or perhaps the estimated cost of repairing the vehicle is far higher than the price you’d get for scrapping it.
